Use your phone and head- or earphones in any park or green space.

The Last Human is a mixed reality experience: an audio walk through a park or a green area. You are the main character in a possible future, surrounded by trees, plants, animals and technology – your more-than-human fellow travellers.
All you need to do is walk, look around, listen – and be brave enough to experience the world differently.

What if you were the last human on Earth? Step by step, you rediscover yourself in a world where familiar social structures and power dynamics have slipped away. Here, imagination isn’t a flight from reality, but a way to engage more deeply with what is real. Instead of distracting you, the technology becomes a tuning device that anchors you in the moment and sharpens your senses.

Designed to be experienced alone, The Last Human can be done in your own time, in any park or green space. The dramaturgy is inspired by the Asian narrative structure Kishōtenketsu, where an unexpected turn shifts perspective and invites you to look differently at nature, technology and being human.

The experience lasts about 40 minutes (around 4,500 steps) and is best enjoyed on your phone with head- or earphones.

FUTURE MEMORIES

The whole terrible fight occurred in the area of imagination. That is the precise location of our battlefield. It is there that we experience our victories and defeats.
